Over 20 years in logistics and haulage. Private consultant, and one of the most experienced AI-driven technologists in the UK. I design, build and run the software behind transport, warehousing and fulfilment, as well as other areas such as video marketing, and even some games.
Websites are only part of the story.
I'm a private consultant to logistics and haulage businesses and a hands-on developer, and I've done this work for many blue chip companies over the years. I implement the big systems, I build the software that joins them up, and I keep it running. From the night trunk to the supermarket's ASN, I work on the software in between.
Implementation, integration testing and go-live for TMS, WMS, ERP and EDI. A named technical contact with your retailers, EDI providers and software vendors.
Cloud software designed, built and run by me. EDI and ASN gateways, TMS and WMS tools, dashboards, portals, fulfilment checks and integrations.
Private AI on my own hardware, dashboards built from your own records, through to AI route planning, put where it takes work off your team.
Websites, hosting and e-commerce strategy. Built on my own site builder and run on my own servers.
askadash is my own AI dashboard builder. Tell it what you want to see, in your own words, and it builds it on your own dash from your own numbers, usually in minutes. People check it, and one click puts it back.
It runs far more than KPIs: warehouse and transport dashboards, late-trunk and other checkers, HR absence tracking, legal compliance, AI-based SOP tools and corrective actions, all the way up to running the board meeting with ROI and net ratios. All on my own AI infrastructure.

With AI built in wherever it takes real work off people.
Bespoke cloud TMS implementation and API integration with pallet networks.
Handheld picking fixes, API scripting and dashboards around a leading WMS.
ERP implementation and integration, so orders, stock and invoices agree with what actually moved.
EDIFACT DESADV over AS2, and a customer gateway that keeps every file.
Route optimisation with AI, built around your depots, your postcodes and your cut-offs.
Carton labels, Amazon / FBA order checks and shipment checks before anything leaves.
My own AI dashboard builder: KPIs, checkers, HR absence, compliance, SOPs and board packs, built from your own words, usually in minutes.
REST APIs, webhooks, AS2, FTP and SFTP. The joins between systems, built and watched.
A few real projects from over 20 years in transport, warehousing, EDI and fulfilment. Client names are left out. The detail isn't.

A warehouse needed to send advance shipping notices to UK supermarket chains. Rather than pay the WMS vendor's day rate, I built the EDI middleware myself: EDIFACT DESADV over AS2, through my own AS2 gateway.

A haulier's TMS had to talk to a national pallet network's system. I ran the end-to-end API testing: forward-manifesting consignments, following every status from collection to delivery, and feeding validation findings back to the network's tech team.

askadash is my own AI dashboard builder and multi-tenant KPI platform for warehouses and transport: each company on its own subdomain with automatic HTTPS, live KPIs, a late-trunk checker, AI screens, and one rule above all: one company's change never touches another's.
If your day runs on cut-offs, trunks and ASNs, I already speak your language.
Night trunks, tight cut-offs, PODs, and customers who want to know where it is now.
Forward manifests, hub scans, depot allocation by postcode, and statuses everyone can trust.
Many customers, many file formats, one operation. Each customer kept apart.
Handheld picking, despatch, and KPIs that show what actually happened.
Carton labels, order checks, and Amazon / FBA shipments that match the paperwork.
Supermarket ASNs over EDI and AS2, sent before the lorry arrives and built not to bounce.
I start with how the work really moves: the yard, the transport office, the warehouse floor, the cut-offs.
I map the systems, files and people involved, and find the gaps where jobs and messages fall through.
I configure or build the fix, and test it away from your live systems first.
I'm there at go-live. Then I watch it, back it up and keep it running.
I run my own on-premise AI server with private language models, so client data stays in-house and off public AI services. AI route planning, AI in dashboards, automation and writing tools.

Most logistics problems live between systems. That's where I work.
Web design, hosting and e-commerce strategy, on my own site builder and my own servers. See the web work.

Bounced ASNs. A TMS that won't talk to the WMS. A go-live that keeps slipping. Tell me what's going on and I'll tell you straight what it takes.
